Inland Empire Courts:Elders, Rod Pacheco

Inland Empire Courts: Search Results: "Pacheco called the legislation's progress and support 'a great advantage to our community,' in the statement.
A separate bill written by Senators Jim Battin, R-Palm Desert, and Gloria Romero, D-Los Angeles, proposes to allow elders and dependant adults who are testifying in abuse cases to have up to two support personnel with them while they testify. Pacheco is also supporting this bill, Senate Bill 1343, to give elder abuse and dependant adult victims a stronger voice in court.
SB 1343 has passed the state Senate with unanimous bipartisan support, according to Pacheco, and is now awaiting committee hearings in the Assembly.
The two bills are among 14 separate pieces of legislation that Pacheco's office is sponsoring this year."

I encourage everyone to go sit in the Riverside County Superior court room 4 for one hour and you will eye witness elder abuse. Not only were we spoke to rudely but had the court used to prevent access to Justice, court records removed. I witnessed having a woman who father is in homecare with severe altimers and she had come into court to verify that the buyer of a car now had the documents they needed and that the situation was due to her fathers illness. The judge would not look or listen and told her to bring her dad even though she had power of attorney and the problem corrected the best she could do.

In our case my mom is 74 and has cronic health issues she qualifies under the ADA. The court documents requested that I could assist my mom in court. The Judge told me to sit and not say one word or I would be thrown out of court. Lee Frank who witnessed her 68 year old husbands murder by a 27 year old Ty Reddish with judo and smothering techniques. We were there still trying to get our day in court. The homicide of Nye Frank was closed behind closed doors. Ty was let out of jail within 24 hours and he with his parents stalked Lee Frank and her family for months with full knowledge of DA Rod Pacheco. Court Records were changed, no investigation, no Adult Protective Services. The DA staff lied to us and stated no elder victim advocate in Riverside County. Then we saw a news article of Rod Pacheco getting a award fot his elder victim program. Fortunately I have tracked and documented the corruption. We hope to get a day in court. We had to serve the County Legal Council for the DA, prosecutor, Adult Protective Services, Judge Mike Rushton, Coroner, and DA Victims Advocate trying to put into court records a false statement of fact that had already been documented in our file but the court took them out. The Riverside Superior Court sent a letter last week removing them selves for conflict of interest. http:nyefrank.typepad.com
