OBJECTIVE OF INTERNAL AFFAIRS

The objectives of an Internal Affairs investigation are:

1. Protection of the public;

2. Protection of the employee;

3. Protection of the department;

4. Removal of unfit personnel; and

5. Correction of procedural and training problems

in reference to:
